ABSTRACT
Despite being hindered by the COVID-19 pandemic, construction work in Indonesia has returned to normal, especially in the infrastructure sector. The high risk of workplace accidents in construction is a major concern, with data showing an increase in accidents each year. 2023 workplace accidents reached 289 thousand cases, most occurring in the construction sector. This study aims to examine the impact of occupational safety and health (OSH) sanctions on the discipline of using personal protective equipment (PPE) and time performance in the construction project of PMJLand Tower. The study's results indicate that OSH sanctions improve worker discipline in using PPE and maintain project time performance. However, sanctions are not the only factor; management commitment, training, and effective supervision also play crucial roles. This research also identifies high accident risks due to indiscipline in PPE use, with the top five risks significantly affecting project time performance.
