ABSTRACT
Air transportation in Indonesia is currently experiencing a rapid increase. Hence, it requires infrastructure that is safe and comfortable for users, including one of which is the reconstruction of the apron. This project requires proper management due to high quality and time demands in a friendly environment. However, the performance of this project has many types of technical risks with different values. Therefore, it is necessary to manage the risk that is right on target so that it can be mitigated to improve project performance. This study combines the severity method, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Pareto Diagrams. The severity level method is needed to measure the amount of risk that impacts the project; AHP is used to assess the priority of risks selected for the severity level method, while the Pareto method is used to determine the dominant risks that must be mitigated. The method of selecting respondents uses purposive sampling, who are asked for their opinions through a questionnaire to assess the risk variables that affect the project. The AHP assessment is given to experts with at least undergraduate education with more than 20 years of project experience through interviews in order of priority and the necessary countermeasures. The research results show that this combination of methods can select risk variables to be more efficient, namely from 48 to 15 risk variables that must be mitigated because they impact cost, time, and project quality pressures.
